Below is an example of a teacher’s pledge that conveys the therapeutic relationship. You can add your own proclamations and display it as a poster or put up each element of the pledge around the classroom. It is also recommended that the staff occasionally use the wording on the pledge in a scripted way to mark an important moment, so that the students can feel and internalize the words.
